About the Role
The Associate Finance Manager will serve as a key business partner to dedicated Brand / Function leaders by providing relevant financial management and decision support. The Manager will drive the budget / forecast preparation / variance analysis, provide relevant financial insights, and provide sound recommendations to support the strategic business plans and drive business results. This role will participate in finance or cross functional projects or initiatives as project owner or supporting party.
What You'll Do
1. Planning, Analysis and Support
- Drive the analysis, forecast process, and facilitate monthly close. Understand business plan / growth strategies and work with teams to incorporate initiative impact into the budget and forecasts.
- Serve as key member to provide decision support analysis, modeling financial impacts of initiatives under consideration (e.g., HC & productivity analysis) and facilitate objective business decisions.
- Support the development of methodologies to improve forecast accuracy, identify cost drivers and trends to establish realistic P&L targets & measurements. Partner with regional & other finance teams in designing new tools to track and support new initiatives and controls.
- Lead and support regional & local functional initiatives to support strategic business plan or finance related projects.
- Analyze key performance indicators to measure business and operation performance.
2. Controls & Process re-engineering
- Support and implement ongoing process improvement and cost efficiencies for the organization and target delivery process simplification and driving efficiencies!
- Support business partners to comply with procurement policies and financial assessment review of vendors. Manage discussion with vendors to land on solution and rectification plan for special payment request and claims.
- Support the Implementation of appropriate control changes in line with the Supply Chain strategy initiatives and update of SOP documentation and internal audit execution and deficiencies rectification.
Who You Are
- Undergraduate degree in accounting or equivalent
- CPA or equivalent (part or fully qualified)
- A minimum of 7 years’ relevant professional work experience, preferably in sizable MNC
- Previous experience in Big 4 accounting firm with subsequent commercial exposure is a plus.
- Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and critical thinking skills with ability to turn findings into executable plans.
- Experience in forecasting and budgeting using complex models.
- Financial systems (Oracle, Essbase)
- High integrity and effective communication & influencing skills.
- Good command in English
