About the role
Old Navy is growing and with that, our teams too! Old Navy is building out it’s very own agile team to create uniquely Old Navy brand experiences and to generate customer love through our new loyalty program, NAVYIST Rewards! No loyalty experience? No problem! We are looking for passionate brand builders, previous consumer brand experience a plus.

In partnership with the Brand Experience Art Director the Associate Art Director, Loyalty will art direct, plan and manage all content for the Old Navy Integrated Loyalty Program (ILP). You are an excellent art director, conceptual thinker and detail-oriented system planning puzzler. You also love bringing loyalty ideas to life through compelling brand right imagery and have experience in bringing content to life in integrated design executions. You take initiative and are independent and thrive when collaborating with the creative and cross-functional teams. You are a multi-tasker, able to manage many projects at once without sacrificing quality.
The Associate Art Director. Loyalty will also be responsible for contributing to loyalty program brainstorm & concept sessions with the creative leadership team and pushing the ON brand forward.
In Addition, You Will:
What you'll do
Support VP of Creative/Sr Creative Director/Art Director and lead team to develop strategic marketing loyalty concepts, promotions and provide creative solutions that are brand right and meets business objectives.
Lead multiple projects and manage/motivate team of designers
Works strategically to maintain brand consistency and usher new ideas and solutions
Coordinates a multi-disciplinary creative team throughout all stages of design
Translates business and marketing objectives into effective designs that meet schedules and budgets.
Participates as a contributor to a cross-functional team that includes creative leads, brand management, marketing, and studio/project management, photo production and account.
Presents work and displays effective communication to business partners and senior management.
Who you are
7+ years of art direction and design leadership experience.
At least 3+ of those years managing creatives
Portfolio that shows campaign/content/brand systems experience across channels: retail, email, direct mail, site assets. Brand Loyalty experience a huge plus!
BA or BFA preferred in Graphic Design/Communication Design/Advertising
Proficient knowledge of Adobe programs: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Apple: Keynote
Expert in idea generation, as well as collaboration with editorial and design partners.
Solid organizational skills, detail-oriented; time management skills, ability to juggle priorities.
Strong relationship-building skills; ability to collaborate and work with a variety of people in various disciplines.
Strong presentation skills, and strong communication skills, both written and verbal and building/designing concept presentations.
Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership, negotiation and consensus-building skills.
Knowledge and experience in retail, beauty/fashion and understand current industry related trends
Ability to work in a very fast paced environment and meet very tight deadlines
Love of brand building content.
