About the role

The Director, Program Management, Marketing Operations leads the center of excellence for all Marketing project management for Old Navy, specializing in cross-functional milestone management end-to-end for Commercial and Brand projects.

The director is focused on driving strategic alignment with cross functional partners and creating integration tools and workflow that best support a go-to-market calendar.

S/he leads a team of operations managers that support various marketing functions to facilitate workflow efficiencies within that enables and protects best in class marketing. S/he leads the team in designing and implementing process improvement for the entire marketing department - fostering a cohesive work environment.

The director leads Brand projects with strategic thinking, integrated process excellence, and an operational mindset, leadership, agility and communications skills.

The director is responsible for driving the workflow framework, and process strategy for the marketing assets.

What you'll do

  • Leads planning all end to end pipeline schedules for omni-channel collateral from Pre-season concept kick off to asset-level delivery to the Print and Digital production teams.

  • Oversee team of Program Managers who schedules and tracks final Leadership team approvals for pre-season and in-season milestones

  • Facilitates cross-functional creative reviews with Senior Leadership (Old Navy Leadership Team)

  • Maintains a standard of excellence for agendas, and meeting attendees

  • Generates ideas for workflow efficiencies for the marketing pipeline workflow at a global level, working with cross-functional leaders to optimize and implement.

  • Builds and maintains strong partnerships across Brand Management, Creative Studio Management, Account Management, Creative and Photo Production.

  • Leads large-scale projects, as needed, from initial concept to final approval

  • Supports career planning, training and advancement for the full team

Who you are

  • Extensive experience in developing and managing project pipelines for large-scale business units

  • Highly process-oriented with superior skills in defining operational structures

  • Strong attention to detail, with a mind for connecting workflows to business needs

  • Ability to drive, direct, influence and coordinate activities among cross-functional, global teams

  • Excellent oral/written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills to effectively work across all levels of the organization

  • Demonstrated experience in people management and development

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

  • 5+ years of relative experience working in operations for creative and marketing teams

  • 3-5 years of leadership experience
