About the role

The Workflow Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a steady and consistent flow of cartons throughout the warehouse with the use of monitoring and navigating through WMS, communication with Ops leaders and Merchandise Handlers. This role requires proactive communication, independent thinking, thoroughegular updates on the amount of work accomplished, mechanical issues, workflow stoppage, and assigning work to employees. This position is classified as an hourly role.

What you'll do

  • Manage the workflow of cartons moving into the sorter zones and the residual module to ensure steady workflow for associates.

  • Monitor and utilize operating sytems to ensure adequate work flow, identify common areas as preventative and predictive measures to eliminate workflow stoppages, and assign work to associates.

  • Prioritize and effectively manage multiple task throughout the day.

  • Proactive communication and partnership with leadership, maintenance, and support teams to ensure sorter and stocking associates have adequate amount of workflow. Report any mechanical errors or work workflow stoppage.

  • Make sound decisions pertaining to work flow utilizing system applications, knowledge of operation process, and leadership guidance.

  • Be flexible with work schedule (early start, overtime, etc) as needed to complete assigned responsibilities.

Who you are

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Have 1 – 2 years of experience in a warehouse/distribution or manufacturing environment.

  • Good verbal communication skills with team members and leadership.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in dynamic operation; attention to detail, organization, meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of Operating systems and basic computer skills is essential - WMS, HMI, Crisplant, TGW Commander for ASRS.

  • Ability to handle work assignment while maintaining a pleasant attitude and adapting quickly to needed changes.

  • Working conditions and physical demands – repetitively able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, grasp, climb stairs, and work in a climate controlled facility.
