About the role

This position will provide support to the newly hired associates. Supports the Operations team by identifying and addressing training requirements while promoting consistency across all distribution operations.


What you'll do

  • Champion the quality of the customer experience through appropriate and timely training interventions; partner with the Operations teams

  • Support the development of the floor associates; by partnering with the training supervisors to provide feedback on training skills and interactions as needed

  • Ensure new hires receive SOP, and training for their department during the first week

  • Assist the distribution center & other areas of the business as needed

  • Partner with training team, ensuring consistency throughout facilities

  • Partner with Distribution Operations on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)

  • Provide effective communication--up, down, and across the business

Who you are


  • Understand and maintain a proficient knowledge in all functional areas of the distribution center

  • Knowledge of distribution center practices, policies & procedures

  • Problem solving and decision making skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time

  • Ability to train, motivate and develop others

  • PC skills: Microsoft Office Suites: Word, Excel, Power Point and/or other software/database skills

  • Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills

  • High School diploma required

  • Post-secondary education (university degree or college diploma) in a related discipline preferred

  • 1+ years of distribution services training experience required

  • Flexibility to adjust hours as needed

  • Proven track record of acceptable performance in a DC environment.

    This would include components such as productivity, attendance, and overall work ethic/behaviors.
