As of May 3, 2008, Gap Inc. operated 3,177 store locations, compared with 3,152 store locations last year. The company now expects to open about 115 store locations and to close about 115 store locations in fiscal year 2008. Therefore, the company does not expect any net square footage growth in 2008.
