Gap Inc.'s headquarters offices house a wide range of essential functions that
keep our business moving and position our brands for success. Read on to find
the department that fits you best.
Communications
Sending a message. Our San Francisco-based Communications teams protect and
enhance Gap Inc.'s reputation by delivering strategic communications to media,
shareholders, and customers interested in Gap Inc. The Corporate
Communications department includes Media Relations and Public Affairs. Store
communications teams, residing within our brand divisions, link our stores and
corporate offices with brand-specific training and communications.

Consumer Insights
Understanding our customers. Located in San Francisco, the Consumer Insights
department uses consumer insights and analyses to drive better decisions and
surface opportunities to increase sales and profits for each Gap Inc. brand.

Corporate Administration
Behind the scenes. Our Corporate Administration team includes Facilities and
Corporate Services, which manages headquarters building operations, and
Corporate Food Services, which manages our corporate cafes. These employees
are located primarily in our San Francisco Bay Area headquarters offices, but
we also have support teams in Albuquerque, N.M., and New York City.

Corporate Architecture and Construction
Building our company. Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, regional offices
across the United States and in Canada, our Corporate Architecture and
Construction team oversees the design and construction of our corporate
buildings and each of our brands' stores.

Corporate Shared Service Center
Supporting our people. Gap Inc.'s Corporate Shared Service Center (CSSC),
located in Albuquerque, N.M., is a centralized organization that supports
service-oriented processes such as accounts payable, inventory control,
payroll, revenue accounting, letters of credit/cash management, real estate
processes and property tax/business licensing. The CSSC also includes the
Employee Services area of our Human Resources department, as well as the
Facilities Services Contact Center.

Corporate Support
Organized self-starters. We offer administrative assistant and support
positions in many departments for individuals with a personal commitment to
customer service who know what it takes to keep our business — and our people
— moving in the right direction. These team members are located primarily in
our San Francisco Bay Area headquarters offices, but we also have support
teams in Rocklin, Calif., Albuquerque, N.M., New York City, our distribution
centers and occasionally in regional offices across the United States.

They're in the money. The world of finance at Gap Inc. is comprised of
Financial Planning, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, Operating Strategies,
Procurement and Corporate Reporting — all of which are located in our San

management services, revenue accounting, letters of credit/cash management and
the property tax/business license group are located in our Corporate Shared

Gap Inc. Direct (e-Commerce)
Easy access — 24/7. The Gap Inc. Direct division supports all of Gap Inc.'s
direct-to-customer businesses, including gap.com, bananarepublic.com,
oldnavy.com and piperlime.com. This growing division is located in San
Francisco, Rocklin, Calif., & Grove City, Ohio, and offers a broad range of
opportunities, including project management, online marketing, photography,
production, design, merchandising, business development, planning, IT and
various call center operations positions.

Global Compliance
Protecting rights. Based in San Francisco and around the world, Gap Inc.'s
Global Compliance team is dedicated to ensuring that the factories that make
our clothes comply with our standards, are safe places to work and treat their
employees with dignity and respect.

Human Resources
It all starts with our people. Human Resources (HR) includes Benefits &
Compensation, Diversity Management, Employee Communications, Employee
Relations, HR Systems and Development and Recruiting — all based in the San
Francisco Bay Area. In addition, HR Administration is located in our Corporate
Shared Service Center in Albuquerque, N.M. We also have HR representatives at
each of our distribution and call centers, and regionally across the United
States.

teams in Rocklin, Calif., New York and our distribution centers, our IT
professionals provide a broad range of technology solutions from many
different departments, including: Architecture Systems, Real Estate Systems,
Inventory Systems, Financial Systems, Global Retail Systems, Technical
Services, Technical Operations, Global Network Integration Support, Web
Systems, Help Desk Services, Engineering, HR Management Systems, Database
Administration, Telecommunications, Store Network Systems, Engineering and
Service Delivery.

Legal
Protecting our business and our people. Gap Inc.'s in-house Legal department
manages all of the company's domestic and international legal and government
affairs needs. This includes all matters relating to trademarks, litigation,
corporate law, human resources, real estate, customs and contracts. This team
is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Logistics
Support through the supply chain. Our Logistics team is dedicated to
advocating the needs of our business partners throughout the product supply
chain. The team is organized by brand, to ensure quality service all the way
from product origin to distribution center. As the liaison to our brands, the
cross-functional Brand Services team supports new initiatives, reports
pipeline trends and seeks to increase operational efficiencies.

Loss Prevention
Safeguarding Gap Inc. Our Loss Prevention team works to develop, implement and
evaluate programs designed to reduce shortage and security concerns at our
stores, corporate offices and distribution centers.

Marketing
Creating impressions. Supporting our brands in San Francisco and New York
City, marketing consists of a broad range of activities, including
advertising, brand strategy and public relations for each brand. Our teams
plan and create ad campaigns for each Gap Inc. brand, plus all posters, signs,
labels and packaging for stores worldwide. Working hand-in-hand with marketing
employees, our brand PR teams communicate with the fashion press through media
outreach and special events.

Merchandising
Style and substance. Based in San Francisco, Gap Inc.'s Merchandising teams
manage our brands by working closely with all groups involved in the
development and delivery of Gap Inc. products, including Design, Production,
Marketing, Planning, Distribution and our stores. From editing the product
lines to analyzing sales and profit, merchants play a key role in determining
what we sell in our stores.

while maintaining profitable inventory levels, helps to determine the
merchandise that's best for each location and assists merchandisers in
planning future products and their optimum distribution. This team is based in

Flexing our purchasing power. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, the
Procurement department strategically sources and manages our supplies. The
team purchases items such as furniture, store fixtures and supplies, as well
as IT, janitorial and transportation equipment for our corporate offices and

Product Development and Design
Setting the trends. Do you know what you're going to be wearing next season?
These people do. New York Product Development (NYPD) is where the creative
process for Gap and Banana Republic begins, while Old Navy's design team makes
its home in San Francisco. Our designers and product managers develop color,
concept, pattern, fabric and styling. They draw from fashion, music and art
influences to design products that are consistent with marketing trends and
business strategy — and, most importantly, our customers' desires.

Production & Pre-Production
Bringing all the pieces together. Based in San Francisco, New York and Miami,
the Production and Pre-Production teams take our designers' ideas and help
make them a reality. The department works with manufacturers around the world,
finding the best place to produce merchandise and source the elements that go
into the finished product, and ensuring that every piece of a collection is
delivered on time.

Real Estate
Location, location, location. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and in
regional offices across the United States, this team develops Gap Inc.'s
overall real estate strategy and seeks new locations for stores, forecasts
budgets and coordinates construction and remodeling efforts.

Sourcing
Product quality and integrity. With teams based in San Francisco and Miami,
Fla., our Technical Services, Product Integrity, Corporate Color, Quality
Assurance and Trim and Packaging departments work with Design and Sourcing &
Vendor Development teams around the world to develop samples, ensure fit and
quality, and perform other technical aspects of product development.

Store Design
Creating the store experience. Based in San Francisco, our Store Design team
is responsible for the architectural design for all Gap Inc. stores. Store
Design works closely with Real Estate, Architecture and Construction and Store
Operations to integrate real estate cost restraints, aesthetic requirements,
operations needs and merchandise presentation.

Supporting our stores. Our San Francisco-based Store Operations team keeps
store employees informed and on track, designs training, develops events and
programs that motivate and reward employees, monitors and develops policies
and procedures, and manages technology enhancements to our systems.

strategies and tactics that will position Gap Inc. for long-term growth and

Technical Services
The perfect fit starts here. Based in San Francisco and New York, our
Technical Services teams know the ins and outs of garment construction and
fitting procedures. They create clothing patterns for all Gap Inc. products.
Patternmakers work with clothing designers, samplemakers, factories and
merchandisers to move styles from initial concept to product shipment. In
addition, the department plays a critical role in partnering with factories to
ensure quality in the product and process.

Visual Merchandising
What you see is what you get. The San Francisco-based Visual Merchandising
teams conceive, develop and implement visual merchandising that reflects the
style of each seasonal collection in our stores. Working with merchants and
planners, they create new presentation and display techniques for store
windows and interiors.
