Undergraduate Internship Opportunities
This summer, Gap Inc. will have a limited number of undergraduate
internships possibly available in Communication/Public Relations, Finance,
Human Resources, Information Technology, Inventory Management, Merchandising,
Merchandise Production, Real Estate/Construction, and Store Operations.
Requirements for All Applicants for Undergraduate Internships
|
| Undergraduate degree in progress — must be in between junior and senior
year or have one quarter or semester left to complete in the fall |
|
| GPA of 3.0 or above |
|
| Strong analytical, research and problem-solving abilities |
|
| Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and
ability to learn technical applications and processes quickly |
|
| Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment |
|
| Ability to understand, or quickly grasp, customer priorities and
terminology |
|
| Effective oral and written communication skills |
|
| Able to organize, prioritize and manage time |
|
| Customer-service oriented |
|
| Results-oriented |
|
| Self-starter capable of operating with little supervision |
|
| Excellent attention to detail |
|
| Previous retail experience preferred but not required |
Once hired, all summer interns will be required to:
|
| Work effectively and efficiently as a member of a cross-functional
departmental team |
|
| Participate in special projects, as assigned, and help drive results |
|
| Participate in cross-functional meetings, sharing analysis and
recommendations |
|
| Prepare presentation documents and assist in presenting findings to all
levels of management |
|
| Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers, vendors and
business partners |
