The Summer Intern Program combines meaningful work experiences with exposure
to different areas of our business to give participants a unique opportunity
to expand their knowledge of the retail industry and determine whether they'd
like to pursue a career at Gap Inc. after graduation. Interns attend weekly
presentations by senior executives, which provide an overview of the company
and the many aspects of our business. Each intern is also assigned a
challenging project that he or she will present to senior management at the
end of the summer.
As participants in the program learn, we work hard at Gap Inc., but we think
it's important to have fun, too. As part of their experience, interns get to
participate in events outside the office, such as volunteering at a local
charity or going to a baseball game at AT&T Park, right down the street from
our headquarters offices.
