Since 1969, Gap has aimed to give people quality clothing that helps them express their sense of style. So when the bulbs flashed and the cameras shuttered at our 1969 Premium Jeans photo shoot, our stylists, models and many other artists confidently expressed their style in order to capture our iconic look.
Gap remains dedicated until the final thread is photographed - and in your case, until you've found the perfect style.
April 22, 2010 marked the 40th anniversary of Earth Day. To support this worthy cause, Gap partnered with August Man, Female, JUICE, Nuyou and Power 98 to spread the message of eco-awareness and create five original bag designs with the tagline 0% Plastic. The iconic eco-friendly bag is made with 100% cotton.
Retailing for S$5 with every Gap purchase, the bags were immediately snapped up and sold out within two months of the official launch on Earth Day!

To celebrate the launch of the Gap Fresh Cut Summer collection, which centered around floral prints, Gap built a garden in the concrete city, right outside the Gap Wisma Atria store, complete with park benches and fresh bright, cheery sunflowers. On the day of the garden grand opening, Gap distributed fresh cut tulips in a variety of hues, with a card attached that offered special shopping privileges at Gap all weekend.
The floral garden drew lots of attention from shoppers and the Orchard Road crowd. Many couldn't resist this photo opportunity and many more enjoyed a brief respite from all that shopping by resting on the park benches. Come nighttime, the garden was illuminated with orbs, taking on a completely different look and feel.
